There are several possibilities to get Seceda by hike or a cable car. The most convenient and scenic way to reach Seceda is by taking the cable car from Ortisei.
How to get to Seceda by a cable car?
Begin your journey in Ortisei, a charming town in the Val Gardena region of the Italian Dolomites. Ortisei is a popular tourist destination known for its stunning alpine scenery and outdoor activities.
From the center of Ortisei, head to the Seceda cable car station. The station is located at the outskirts of the town. From Piazza S. Antonio you can reach the station via the „La Curta” escalator in a few minutes. Signs and directions should guide you to the cable car base station easily.
The Seceda cable car offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Once you board the cable car, sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. During the approximately 20-30 minute cable car ride (there is a mid-station where you’ll need to change the cabin for another one!), you’ll be treated to awe-inspiring panoramic vistas of the Dolomites.
The cable car will take you to the top of Seceda, which is part of the Dolomiti Superski area. Once you reach the upper station, step outside, and be prepared to be amazed by the beauty of the landscape. Keep your camera ready to capture the magnificent scenery!
